With the release of the version 2.3-pre for Windows CrossVC-XXL now provides the same features for all three supported platforms. The new plugin architecture now also allows the simultaneous support of different versions of the version administration system Subversion on the Windows platform (at the moment 1.5.5 (not available on Windows 7), 1.6.17, and 1.7.1).
Ath the same time the renewed pre-release versions for Mac Os X and Linux now provide SVN plugins for SVN 1.7.1
Linux: administration of user data to deal with SVN repositories has been re-implemented.
Linux: simultaneous support of different versions of the version administration system Subversion (at the moment 1.4.6, 1.5.9, 1.6.17) as plug in.
Linux: improvement of the user interface.
Linux + Mac OS X: implementation of a shell environment for opening workbench entries in the shell.
Linux + Mac OS X: improvment on handling of external diff applications.

CrossVC-XXl 2.1.5 for Linux is available in the download area. Beside some bug fixing a dialog window to input user data to access Subversion repositories has been implemented.
The SVN PlugIns for Mac OS X are available in the download area.
CrossVC XXL 2.2 is now available for Mac OS X 10.5.x - 10.7.x.
Key features of this new version include the adjustment of the user interface to the Mac OS X environment as well as the simultaneous support of different versions of the version administration system Subversion. To this end, the architecture of CrossVC was extended so that different Subversion binaries can be provided as separate PlugIns for separate install. Currently PlugIns for SVN 1.4.6, 1.5.7 as well as 1.6.16 are available. In the future, this will make it possible to react very quickly to the publication of bugfixes or new versions of SVN and to provide these to our users as additional PlugIns.
Having created and developed the cross-platform version control system CrossVC-XXL for about 12 years, the current authors Tilo Riemer and Frank Hemer are transferring the future development and marketing to Thomas Klaube. Thomas has been working with the team since 2009 and has been involved particularly in the software's deployment to the Macintosh platform as well as the product maintenance. Both authors will continue to maintain an involvement with the product in order to ensure continuous user support.
The distribution of the software will continue at unchanged prices and conditions through www.crossvc.com, now using the distribution platform shareIt (http://www.shareit.com), which will also make the international sales easier.
CrossVC is a graphical version-control program. It is available for Windows (only CrossVC XXL), Mac OS X and Unix (Linux, Solaris, BSD).
